This list of the best puzzle games on Xbox has been updated to include even more of the best puzzle games Xbox has to offer, from puzzle games set in space to modern versions of the classic escape room formula. This list already includes some of the best Xbox puzzle games, but there is always room for more to be included. From mysteries to solve to epic worlds to explore, there is a puzzle game out there for everyone, no matter your tastes.

Our favorites are ones that you can easily pick up but can only put down with difficulty. Xbox currently has access to some of the best puzzle games in the genre. Puzzle games exist that meet all of those criteria, and they're a blast to play. And engaging gameplay doesn't necessitate online multiplayer with constant updates. Beautiful visuals don't have to mean the latest graphics engine with the largest development team. Actually, download all of the games, they’re still excellent now.Complexity doesn't have to require hundreds of hours within a game. The indie adventure game Oxenfree is still available to download until October 15, so if you haven’t yet the definitely pick that one up. That’s it for the new titles for October, but there’ll also be a couple of games leaving GWG at the end of the month, starting with Forza Motorsport 5 and Battlefield 3 that’ll both be gone come the end of September 30. They never should have rebooted the series to try and compete with the Call of Duty franchise. This will be replaced on October 16-31 by EA’s original military first-person shooter, Medal of Honor: Airborne, which is arguably the last good Medal of Honor game. Rayman 3 HD will be available from October 1-15. Rayman 3 HD sees the popular French platformer swing its detachable limbs onto the Xbox One via backwards compatibility. There are a couple of fairly decent Xbox 360 titles to look forward to, as well. This is closely followed by the atmospheric first-person puzzle game The Turing Test, which joins GWG halfway through the month on October 16. First up is the first-person exploration game Gone Home: Console Edition, which is free to download from October 1-31. Microsoft has revealed the October line up for its Games with Gold Promotion, and there are some pretty decent games coming to both the Xbox One and Xbox 360.
